The Tyrant of Tyr
Kalak was the sorcerer-king of the city-state of Tyr, which he had ruled for over a thousand years. Kalak all but ruined the economy and general well-being of his realm over the last century by pouring its every resource into the construction of a grand, mysterious ziggurat. Finally, a conspiracy of his citizens planned an uprising. Reaching from the slave pens to the templarate itself, the conspiracy culminated in the assassination of Kalak at the opening ceremonies of the ziggurat. He was succeeded by Tithian, one of his former high templars.
